For me, different emotions are associated with particular colour ranges and therefore the colour composition of each painting arises from the emotions I would like to convey with it. With this composition and the mix of pronounced texture with softly glazed colour surfaces, I create an atmosphere which evokes emotional resonance reaching far beyond a merely intellectual interpretation.
